WANA (May 22) – The spokesperson for Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) stressed that if the “delusional Zionist regime” acts foolishly and initiates aggression, it will undoubtedly receive a devastating and decisive response within its small and vulnerable geography.

 

Brigadier General Ali-Mohammad Naeini, responding to threats from Israel, stated: “They try to intimidate us with the prospect of war. Accusing a system with strong popular, military, and strategic backing of fearing war stems from the enemy’s continued miscalculations. They remain unaware of the people’s power in wartime.”

 

He added: “The enemy’s assessments ignore the real strength of the Islamic Republic. They are delusional and fail to grasp that if war begins, the power of the people will rise to the occasion—just as it did during the Iran–Iraq War, which began based on similar misjudgments and ended in their defeat.”

 

General Naeini reiterated: “Even today, if the Zionist regime acts on its delusions and launches an attack, it will certainly face a crushing and decisive response within its small and vulnerable territory. The message from 46 years of resistance against the Islamic Republic is clear. Just like the message of the eight-year war: the Islamic Republic cannot be overthrown. The unrest of recent years has delivered the same message—collapse is not an option.”

 

The IRGC spokesperson concluded: “We are now stronger than in previous years in all aspects, and our military advancements are astonishing. Today, the entire existence of the Zionist regime is under the watch of the Islamic Republic’s fighters. The illegitimate Israeli regime is backed by a declining America and weakening Western governments. Until Israel is wiped out, there will be no lasting peace in the region or the world.”
